Film Time: 10:30-11:30AM
Date: April 25, 2026
Join Us for a Screening of Dismissed
Dismissed was produced by Believe Limited and made possible with support from Sanofi. We’re honored to share this powerful film and create space for an honest conversation around the experiences of women and girls living with hemophilia.
What the Program Looks Like
This event is designed to be thoughtful, reflective, and community-centered.
- Film Screening (40 minutes): We’ll begin with a screening of Dismissed.
- Community Conversation (25 minutes): After the film, we’ll spend time reflecting together — discussing themes from the film and the experiences it brings forward.
About the Film
Dismissed explores the lived experiences of women and girls with hemophilia — individuals who have too often been overlooked, doubted, or misunderstood in healthcare spaces.
Through personal stories, the film shines a light on:
- Being dismissed or misdiagnosed
- The feeling of being an “imposter” in your own diagnosis
- The courage it takes to advocate for care when systems weren’t built to recognize you
These stories are deeply personal and incredibly powerful. They may resonate with your own experiences or introduce perspectives you haven’t heard before.
Our Invitation to You
Following the film, you’ll be invited to share reflections if you feel comfortable. There is no expectation to speak. Listening, holding space, and learning from one another are just as meaningful.
We ask everyone who joins to help create a respectful, supportive environment where people can engage with curiosity, empathy, and care.
Why This Matters
By coming together to watch and discuss Dismissed, we hope to spark not only reflection — but awareness, validation, and change
